Apple ruling blocks Galaxy Tab shipments

A German patent court has given Apple a preliminary injunction over the Samsung Galaxy tablet which means that until the court reaches a final decision Samsung will not be able to ship the Galaxy out to customers in the EU. After Apple won the temporary reprieve in patent court customs officers were instructed to seize and hold all shipments of the Galaxy Tab. Samsung announced that it would quickly attempt to take care of the matter, given its sales are blocked in every country in the EU outside of the Netherlands, which is a large piece of its world market.

Mac OS X Lion

Given the fact that the Mac OS X Lion is meant to operate a server and is priced below forty pounds it seems safe to say that there must be something wrong with it, which is why taking a closer look at the new OS may be in order. When you first start to think about Apple most likely server software is not the first thing that will come to mind, if it even comes to mind at all. However, way back before Apple specialized in i-products, it was a creator of operating systems for servers.

Microsoft’s ‘single ecosystem’ for PCs and tablets is rather risky

Windows Phone division programmer Andy Lees stated that tablets should be considered PCs and thus you will not see his OS on any of the new ones, but for Microsoft programmers this is going to be a tough challenge. This is due to the fact that Microsoft eventually would like to develop one single software that can be used on both PCS and mobiles creating a link between all of their devices such as e-readers and tablets that all run on the software.

Eco technology and modern cars

It sometimes seems as if the world has gone green mad, everywhere you look there are messages about going green, or doing more to help the environment. It is actually a sad state of affairs that it has got to such a stage that we need to raise awareness so dramatically, and even sadder that many don’t feel as if they should bother to make an effort looking into eco technology when so many industries don’t seem to care.
